Foreword to Tarot Book While working on this Tarot I became fascinated with the symbolism of color, the relationship of color to sound, the electromagnetic spectrum, and the colors of astrology. I do not have a deep connection with the fortune telling aspect of the Tarot. Rather, it became a way I could organize my thoughts in a string of 78 artworks. This took about two years, 1968-1969. It was a time of upheaval, both outwardly and inwardly, and that is reflected in the images. |
